| Hi Everyone, Here is my Dad's Ship's company Photo, HMCS Rosthern, taken in June 1944 in St John's, Newfoundland. The late Raymond Gard is in the 5th row from the front (third from the rhs: in which most of the sailor's torsos are visible). Dyanne Wilson is the daughter of John "Tug" Wilson (88) also in the photo (3rd row 4th from the left - directly above the H in Rosthern). I will be exchanging photos with her . John is an active computer user and we have been corresponding regularly since we been in touch in early March. The officer in the front row (4th from the left) is the late Lt(N) Davies. His nephew, Dale Davies, lives in Toronto and we have met several times when I have been in the TO. The bearded CO was Lt S P.R. Annett, RCNVR. Cheers. Bill in Halifax |
